Left Sarlat today after visiting their weekend markets. Kim loves markets while I hate them, so we compromised and took a quick walk through. Then we drove to Rocamadour an amazing Chateau and religious sanctuary including several chapels built into the cliff face. Roquefort Caves was our next stop which was slightly disappointing. As it wasn’t the season for cheese making (the sheep are having a holiday too!!), the shelves were empty of the famous cheese and we went on a hour long cheese tour with no cheese that was all in French…hmmm.
Tonight we are staying in the modern side of a medieval chateau in the city of Creissels.
