We first met Christina & Varun last year when we were shooting this amazing Indian wedding. This is their pre wedding shoot and we are really looking forward to shooting their wedding later this year.

Well we just photographed our final wedding for the year and shot our final 365 self portrait photo. Yes we had a wedding on New Years Eve
This is a test shot I did before getting the Bride & Groom in for their shot.
It has been an amazing and crazy busy year for us. We shot over 60 weddings, plus portraits, engagement and pre wedding shoots. We shot weddings in Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Sunshine Cost, Fiji and Bali. We started the year off with a mini holiday in Tasmania. And in winter, we got to travel overseas for a month spending time in Finland, Hong Kong and most of our time driving around France.
As for the 365 Self-Portrait Project itself… it’s been a long hard slog trying to take a self portrait every day. When you are shooting as much as we have this year, and you spend all day editing photos, designing albums and working on your photography business, it’s hard to get inspired to take a photo of yourself. Would I do it again…. hmmm not sure… probably not. It’s a big commitment and I got sick of taking so many photos of myself… I much prefer taking photos of other people. But it is kinda cool looking back at the photos and seeing exactly what you did on that day in 2011.

One more wedding to shoot for the year which will be in the Southern Highlands in Bowral. This is the hotel we’ll be spending New Years at.
